Embracing Vulnerability: Lessons in Love and Service

I poured my heart and soul into the entire summer, tirelessly applying for jobs. Working at a high school, my role spans just nine months, and that realization sparked a burning desire for change within me. With fervor and determination, I embarked on a quest for something BETTER—a career that would not only challenge me but also reward me financially. Each day, I would submit around 10 applications, fueled by the hope of discovering an opportunity where I could truly thrive and earn more.

This summer, I received an immense lesson that shattered my previous beliefs about timing—it’s not about me at all. The experience humbled me in unimaginable ways. Facing a complete lack of income and having to muster the courage to ASK FOR HELP from others was an overwhelming burden that weighed heavily on my heart. Having been hurt so profoundly in the past, I found myself resisting the idea of reaching out for support! The sheer weight of that vulnerability, coupled with the anxiety of feeling indebted, is something I never wished to carry.

I was incredibly blessed to receive the help I did, and through the journey of self-love, I discovered a powerful lesson: it’s not always about repaying others. It’s fascinating how, despite my desire to move on from a job that evokes such a tumultuous love/hate relationship, God halted my progress this summer, firmly grounding me in place. There is a profound lesson waiting for me to embrace here, and for the past five years, I have stood as the sole constant in my department, surrounded by change.

With that being said, I now embrace the challenge of releasing control and stepping into the role of a teacher. This is completely new territory for me, and as I navigate this journey throughout the year, I will wholeheartedly take on the responsibilities of teaching and delegating. I have the privilege of working with the most vulnerable kids on campus, and it is our sacred duty to ensure they receive the essential services they need. Though my salary may not reflect the BIG $$, God is teaching me that this calling transcends monetary value. It’s about the SERVICE we provide, the profound LOVE we share, the KINDNESS that inspires us, and the invaluable RELATIONSHIPS I have nurtured with each of my families.

My ESS kiddos are my entire world, and I pour my heart into them just as I do for my own children. Each morning, I walk in with a smile, showering them with love, ensuring they feel seen and cherished. We celebrate with lively parties, engage in exhilarating sports, and remind them that they are just as important as any other child on campus! I honestly hadn’t grasped the legacy I was aiming to create. I am incredibly grateful for the divine wake-up call that reminded me it’s not about the money we earn. It’s about the invaluable service we offer and the love we share.

Going without this summer has deeply resonated with me, evoking memories of so many of my kids. Some reside in Group Homes, left without families, and we are their lifeline. I am profoundly thankful for this awakening—realizing that wealth isn’t measured merely in monetary terms but in the richness of love we share. I stand as the voice for my kids who can’t express themselves, the nurturer for those deprived of family warmth. I am here, wholeheartedly listening to my kids that I coach, ready to be the confidant they need when they seek solace in someone to talk to.

Leaving it all behind would have shattered my heart. I was entangled in anger last year, directed at one individual who made me question my worth and abilities in my job. But oh, what a lesson it has been! We must never allow others to dictate our value or define who WE truly are!

God and our ANGELS are here to empower us to raise our voices and stand unwavering! Open your heart to the signs—they’re everywhere, guiding you and illuminating your path! I fervently pray to them each day, seeking their wisdom to communicate effectively and express love that aligns with my highest good. Abundance flows to us in countless forms; we must simply be OPEN to receiving it! Let the WHITE light envelop you, love and nurture you, revealing the profound essence of TRUE PEACE!

About Me

Hello everyone!

I’m here to unveil the depths of my life experiences through this blog—a journey that has felt like an exhilarating rollercoaster of highs and lows. With unwavering Faith and the guiding presence of God by my side, I have conquered the fiercest storms. I want you to grasp this truth: you are not alone in this tumultuous world we inhabit. If I can lay bare just a fragment of my struggles, you will discover the strength within you to rise and overcome!

We must wholeheartedly lean on the only Father who sees us in our true essence! He knows our failures, yet His love is unwavering as He continuously seeks us! Trust in God and His Son, Jesus, for they are ever-present, ready to embrace you! Surrender completely—believe me, it’s a challenge; I was once one of His most stubborn children, constantly handing my worries over to Him only to snatch them back! I learned that in those moments, I was not truly giving my entire self to Him.

Now that I have opened my heart, I can feel Him moving through every aspect of my life in the most profound ways. I’ve learned to embrace patience, understanding that with God, timing lies in His loving hands, not mine. We inhabit a world that craves instant gratification, yet in His realm, it’s all about that perfect moment. So, summon your courage, surrender yourself to Him, and witness the incredible magic He weaves in YOUR life!
