I am a vibrant Libra, brimming with life, energy, and excitement. Embracing self-love has been an exhilarating journey. Though falling in love with myself has posed challenges, it has been immensely enlightening! As I confront my painful past, I remain mindful of my triggers, knowing that healing them with God’s guidance eases the burden. It’s normal to feel exhausted, as if you’ve just run a marathon! I firmly advise you to prioritize rest; it’s essential for rejuvenation. If you’re anything like me, someone relentless in pursuit of goals, heed my words: you absolutely need that downtime!
Podcasts are incredibly soothing and connect me to a greater sense of community. They remind me that I’m not alone in this world. Hearing the stories of women today serves as my inner Bible, uniting our voices and experiences. This journey aids in my healing and helps me understand my feelings more deeply. It’s essential for me to maintain balance as I explore my inner self. While I may often feel pressed for time—yes, I’m that person who struggles to carve out moments for myself—these podcasts feel like wise sisters guiding me toward my best self. I attend church regularly and participate in my women’s group whenever possible, but I recognize the need to prioritize that time even more!
So we are all healing in our own unique ways. We embrace life, love, family, responsibilities, jobs, and commitments—the list is endless. I have discovered the power of GRACE, and it’s an incredible feeling! I am incredibly grateful for “More Than Small Talk”—Holley, Jennifer, and Suzanne—you are truly AMAZING! Thank you for guiding me through my pain, fears, tears, and heartbreak. As you heal, remain open-minded and think outside the box. Personally, I find myself with no one to confide in, so I embraced blogging. I believe it’s a divine purpose! I love how God provides exactly what we need, right when we need it!
As I discover my purpose in life, I am determined to make my Father proud—both my Daddy who has passed and God. I will cherish the grace I give myself! My brokenness is healing because we all experience seasons in life, and it’s time for my season to shift. I grant myself the freedom to feel without fear, to be brave, and to voice my thoughts. By embracing and articulating the beautiful words of God, healing will undoubtedly manifest!
You may feel lost and life might seem out of control, but remember that the Bible provides countless ways to connect with both the past and the present. Its stories are incredibly empowering. Each of us experiences life uniquely, reflecting our individual seasons. Loving yourself is a divine and heartwarming journey. I am who I am through the GRACE of GOD! While we’ve all faced trauma, and sharing our stories may be daunting, I encourage you to start a journal, just as I did, until God inspired me to share my journey with the world.
I come from a world where I was baptized Catholic, yet my parents never spoke the word of God in our home. I married an atheist, which brought its own set of challenges, but I embraced them head-on, even when some days felt overwhelming. In my thirties, I found salvation, and yes, I have my debates with God. Still, I have always embodied a godly spirit. I will always believe in Him! He keeps me grounded, and my podcast friends support me in balancing my vibrant life. When life seems unbalanced, it signals that something needs to change! Be intuitive about who you are; don’t hesitate to slow down and start enjoying life. It’s truly a blessing.
"For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things"
